My career has been a little unconventional. In college, I started working with a small educational program as their graphic designer/communications intern. After graduating from Ithaca College in 2014 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, I decided to move from Pennsylvania to Colorado. I was added on as a full-time remote Communications Director with that same educational program.
It was a small company, so I was given a lot of freedom that most recent college grads don’t get. My favorite part of that job was the variety. One minute I was working on illustrations for a new product design, the next I was proofing blogs and setting up an online training course. Over the next few years, I took on a few freelance jobs and continued to learn new things every day about design and communication.
In 2018, I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training and started teaching classes at two studios. I really enjoyed the balance of the human connection that teaching yoga provided to my many years of remote working.
And then, in 2019, my husband took a job in Paris. (France, not Texas.) We uprooted our Colorado lives and took a leap. I moved my business to France and continue to design for that educational program as well as a few other amazing clients you will see throughout my site.
Now, here we are in 2021, a few months after we moved (yes, again) to Santa Fe, New Mexico where I am continuing to virtually connect with clients new and old.
So that’s me. A designer and marketing pro who no longer has to stumble her way through her non-existent French vocabulary, but is severely missing fresh baguettes.
In my free time, I climb, do yoga, read, and snuggle my dog and cat.
Hope to meet you soon!
